Establishing an online community, or sangha, for readers of “How to Train a Wild Elephant: And Other Adventures in Mindfulness”, by Jan Chozen Bays.
In order to strengthen my mindfulness practice in 2015, I’ve decided to follow the exercises laid out in the book “How to Train a Wild Elephant: And Other Adventures in Mindfulness”, by Jan Chozen Bays –
“How to Train a Wild Elephant” lays out a series of mindfulness exercises and recommends that one way to practice them is to do one exercise each week. Jan Chozen Bays also suggests that reflecting on each exercise in writing, either alone or with a group of people who are also following the plan, is a good way to solidify the benefits of each exercise in your mindfulness practice.
I hope that this section of Justrollingwith.it grows into an online community, or sangha, for others who have chosen to practice the exercises. Below you’ll find a discussion forum for each exercise. I’ll kick-off the conversation in each forum with my reflections on the exercise and invite you to jump-in and join the discussion!
